Bureau of Anomalous Treatment

Department of Anomalous Affairs

The Department of Anomalous Affairs was not established to be known. Authorized under classified federal directive in 1952, it operates outside public record, outside congressional oversight, and outside the boundaries of what most agencies are permitted to acknowledge. Its mandate is containment.
