United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland was a sovereign state within Europe. It was composed of the entirety of the British Isles. Due to the Acts of Union 1800, the Kingdom of Great Britain and the Kingdom of Ireland merged to unify as one state.
