This server is focused on creating custom levels for the 1996 video game Quake by id Software. We also welcome all other kinds of modding and custom content, and players who just want to keep up with the lively Quake scene.
OpenArena is an old-school, fast-pased FPS game utilizing vastly improved id Tech 3 engine. OpenArena is a free/libre and open source alternative to Quake III Arena and can run vast majority of Q3 maps and all Q3 mods but comes with a distinctly new art style.
Team *A51* was founded in 2000 by PO and Elimin8r, who will be remembered always. May they rest in peace. We’re a community of active Quake 3 players, and we host CTF, FFA, Freeze Tag, and Duel servers for everyone to enjoy.
