Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia is formally a British Overseas Territory within Cyprus. RAF Akrotiri and a British Army Garrison is presently presiding on the territory. Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia is managed and governed by Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom.
